Java | Final Lab Exam | Programs

Dear All, 

Please note that 26 programs have been freezed for Final Lab Exam for both A and B Divisions.

So, in this week (27th Dec to 1st Jan), 'A' division students can practice the same programs in the lab.

So, tomorrow before coming to the lab , 'A1' batch ensure that all 26 programs are there in your observation book.

Class plan for tomorrow

Tomorrow, from 8:50 AM till 10:30 AM, I have planned a lab session for JDBC and GUI Event handling and Applet Demonstration.


All this is keeping in view your lab Internals and to assist those who have missed the JDBC and GUI Event Handling Classes and Labs.


Recommend all students (Mainly A2 and A3 batches) to attend and some how adjust yourselves in the lab (by pulling chairs from other class rooms and staff rooms :-).


This session will also prepare you for 2 of your theory chapters. 

IA - 2 | Change of Timings

Note, time the changes for tomorrow's (Sunday's) IA.

Distributed Systems - 12:30PM to 1:30PM.
Aircraft Engg - 9:00AM to 10:00AM.

On Monday - Software Testing 2:30PM to 3:30PM.

My Recommendation: (Summit + Trip)

I personally recommend this summit for you all, even though you have to leave on 26th night (soon after Utsav); This could be planned properly, such a way that you have leave on 26th night, 11:00 PM around from Dharwad, private bus and reach Blore next day, attend this summit and the very next day (sunday) could be spent in Blore.

Dear All,

Netbeans software for windows OS is available with me. Its required for you to execute JDBC programs along with GUI programs.

Its a new IDE, which I am using in my class since last few days. Recommend you to install the same along with MySQL in your machine,  and to have fun with Database programming in Java ;-)

Knowing new IDE has weight-age in your CV!

I would be conducting an extra class tomorrow (17 / 11 / 10)  morn morning at 8:00 - 9:00AM and 
9:15 - 10:15AM.


I would be completing JDBC programming concepts.


Recommend you to read the Richard Raposa, PDF Chapter 18, completely.


Install and execute all the Database programs on your machine. 

ATTENTION : Final Years'

Hi, Irrespective of whatever project you are doing for your final year and whichever technology / platform you are using,  you are asked to register your team at TGMC 2010 portal, with the project scenario that is submitted to the Department.

This is compulsory for all final year students (Inform others).

This is very important for the continuation of IBM's support to the Department/College in respect of Workshops and other Trainings offered by IBM for you and your juniors (RFT, RAD and DB2 etc etc).
