Attendance will be provided only on successful execution of all the programs.


PS: 16 Programs are to be executed on eclipse on Event Handling (Concepts will be explained in the class) and one JDBC (Database related) program to be executed on Net Beans 6.9.1.

My Recommendation: (Summit + Trip)

I personally recommend this summit for you all, even though you have to leave on 26th night (soon after Utsav); This could be planned properly, such a way that you have leave on 26th night, 11:00 PM around from Dharwad, private bus and reach Blore next day, attend this summit and the very next day (sunday) could be spent in Blore.

Dear All,

Netbeans software for windows OS is available with me. Its required for you to execute JDBC programs along with GUI programs.

Its a new IDE, which I am using in my class since last few days. Recommend you to install the same along with MySQL in your machine,  and to have fun with Database programming in Java ;-)

Knowing new IDE has weight-age in your CV!

This is compulsory for all final year students (Inform others).

Multi Threaded Programming: The Java Thread Model, Making the classes threadable; Synchronization.                                                                

GUI Components And Event Handling Applets: Swings, Event Handling, Adapter classes                                                                                            

Database Programming: The Concept of JDBC; JDBC Drivers; Connecting to Database. Working with database. 

Introduction to Java Beans: Enterprise java Beans; Deployment Descriptors; Session Java Bean, Entity Java Bean; Message-Driven Bean; JAR File.

                                              

Extra Classes would be conducted to cover this syllabus.

The objective is to provide enough time for your study holidays ;-)
